Night is the exam. Everything you built in Build Base to Survive VERITY either holds or becomes debris when VERITY hunts. This guide focuses on the minutes after darkness — where to stand, when to shoot, when to repair, and how to end the wave with Cash instead of a wipe.

Pre-night lock-in (last daylight minutes)

1. Stop decorating. Finish load-bearing walls only.
2. Confirm every Turret faces an open lane (turret placement).
3. Stock repair blocks on your hotbar.
4. Climb to the AFK perch and test that you cannot accidentally walk off.
5. Note the ladder mouth — if VERITY pathing hugs it, pre-place a bumper.

Opening seconds of night

Do not panic-buy. Panic clicks waste Cash and pull you off the perch. Watch where VERITY approaches. Your farm geometry from the money farm build should park the threat in the minigun cone. If the monster flanks behind shelves, you have a sightline bug — cancel risky peeks and survive with guns only until dawn if needed.

Positioning rules

• Default: stand still on the perch and let Turrets work.
• Active micro: slide left/right to keep VERITY centered in overlapping fire.
• Never: jump down to melee unless the perch is already destroyed.
• Co-op: one player holds perch, one repairs — see co-op base tips.

When to use guns

Turrets should do most DPS. Pull a gun when:

• A Turret nest was deleted mid-wave.
• VERITY focuses a seam your barrels cannot see.
• You are finishing a nearly dead wave and want extra Cash efficiency.

Weapon priorities sit on the weapons tier list. Infinite spray without aim still loses to a well-built nest.

Emergency repair protocol

1. Identify whether the hole threatens the perch HP.
2. If yes, place premium blocks from cover — do not rebuild vanity walls.
3. If Turrets died, replace the cheapest minigun first.
4. Return to perch immediately.

Understanding bazooka chip damage

VERITY rockets delete soft faces quickly. That is expected. Your job is to feed sacrificial layers faster than the monster tunnels. After the wave, rebuild bumpers before celebrating. Treat Emerald/Gold code packs as repair crates, not decoration.

Wave end and Cash banking

When the night clears, dump Cash into missing barrels and HP, not cosmetics. Reopen Shop, compare prices with the tier lists, and only then extend the base footprint. If payouts feel low, your nest DPS is weak — add miniguns before taller towers.

Recovery after a wipe
